Paul Richards: A Day at the Zoo

2 June - 2 July 2011
Overview

Paul Richards is the first major British artist to build an emotive profile of London Zoo and its animals. Presenting a substantial body of paintings and drawings, this exhibition marks the culmination of Richard's three year collaboration with the London Zoological Society. Following the course of great masters such as Van Eyck, Rembrandt and Stubbs, Richards bring his distinct form of psychological drama to the canon of animal painting.
