The British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel 70th Anniversary Auction will be live at Paddle8 until 10:45pm, 18 January 2017.
This year features an especially exciting and diverse collection of works, from world renowned artists such as Jeff Koons, William Kentridge, Michael Craig-Martin CBE RA, Raqib Shaw, our Guest of Honour Ron Arad RA, Jim Lambie and John Gerrard, as well as emerging artists Annina Roescheisen, The Connor Brothers, David Korty and many more beautiful works. The auction includes contemporary art, jewellery, design and unique experiences that will be installed at Christie’s in London for a preview, followed by a Gala Dinner and Auction in London January 18th.
As always, the proceeds will go to Museum Educational Programmes across Israel, supporting art education for children and youth from all social backgrounds and all faiths. Over the past 70 years, the number of museums and programmes sponsored by BFAMI throughout Israel has grown. The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and a dozen smaller Art Museums around the country benefit from the generosity of our friends.
